Front Office associate
Melissa Mulengwa is a current MBA student with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration at San Francisco State University. She is originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, but currently resides in San Francisco. Melissa loves jazz, visual arts, fashion + style, modeling, as well as a blossoming interest in interior design.
Melissa’s interests include the administration of overall wellness of maternal and child health, and hopes to introduce more naturalistic and holistic methods to supporting fertility and women’s health in hospitals and clinics. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Policy, as well as a minor in Medical Anthropology from the University of California, Irvine. Melissa found her inspiration for women’s health from her beautiful, health-conscious mother, and her interest in overall health and wellness from her wonderful experiences in various health and wellness organizations while attending UCI. During her time at UCI, she was a Nutrition Peer Health Educator, and worked closely with the Registered Dietitian on campus, Jody Margolis, to educate the student body on how to develop healthy eating practices while attending university. Through her minor in Medical Anthropology, Melissa discovered her interest in integrative health for fertility and women’s health, and aspires to implement new and integrative health policies and standards in the outcomes of women and children in healthcare.
Melissa loves to connect deeply with others, and to cultivate meaningful, resonant relationships that make her life wholesome. She hopes to one day impact Communities of Color in the movement of bringing awareness to overall health and wellness, as well as integrative practices of fertility and women’s health
