4 class infant massage series Thursday 2/18 - Thursday 3/10 at Blue Ova Health.
Infant Massage is a technique that has been handed down through generations as a way to communicate, soothe and nurture babies. In this 4 class series you will learn to give your baby a full-body massage and help relieve your baby of many common issues such as gas, constipation and colic. The series is designed to help parents and caregivers learn massage techniques and exercises with infants 6 weeks to 12 months, however the techniques can be valuable for children older than a year as well. The class series is divided into four 60 minute sessions, with each session focusing on massage and exercises for specific areas of the body. If a baby is unavailable or unwilling to cooperate, a doll (provided) can be used.
Must pre-register. Please wear comfortable clothes as we will be sitting on the floor using padded seats. Please bring an adult-sized bath towel and a cloth diaper or small towel since babies will be naked during the massage.
Cost: $99 Per Baby (includes 2 caregivers of the same baby)
